Terms of Service

1. Who can use PrepMyPlate

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that you are.

2. Not medical or dietitian advice

Meal plans, macros, nutrition figures, and AI coaching are general information only. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for a doctor or registered dietitian.

Talk to a qualified professional before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant or nursing, have diabetes, kidney disease, or an eating disorder, or take medication.

3. Allergies

Allergy filters may be incomplete or wrong. Recipes and grocery suggestions can contain allergens or cross-contamination risks. Always read ingredient labels yourself before buying or eating anything.

4. AI output and nutrition estimates

Our AI guide can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Use your own judgment. Nutrition figures, prices, and portion sizes are estimates and vary by ingredient and preparation.

5. Subscriptions and billing

New accounts get a 7-day free trial. No card is needed to start the trial, and you aren't charged when it ends. After that, continued access requires a paid subscription. PrepMyPlate Premium is $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year, or the price shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. If you subscribe during your free trial, your paid plan starts right away and your first payment is taken when you subscribe.

Payments are sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service, which acts as the merchant of record. Link's own terms also apply to the payment.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. You can cancel any time through the Stripe customer portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. If you delete your account, we cancel your subscription right away and you won't be charged again; your access ends immediately and any time left in the billing period is lost.

Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no illegal activity, no attempts to break, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer it, no sharing accounts, and no using the AI to generate harmful content.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the data you put into PrepMyPlate. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you. Our recipes, software, and branding remain ours.

8. Termination

You can delete your account any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Dan Duda Ventures LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Missouri. This doesn't remove any consumer protections that the law of your state gives you.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we'll update the date below and notify you of material changes. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
